Portland is a wonderful place and is known to have an extra buzz during the summer time. We recommend making reservations at restaurants in advanced when possible. Considering the city's food scene is on the rise, there are plenty of options to pick from!
Given the size of the city, there's a chance your destination is within walking distance. If you're not up for the walk, there is the occasional taxi that you can hail on the fly. However, Uber and Lyft are safe bets to secure a ride around town.
The ferry to House Island will be leaving from the Long Wharf dock in Portland.
Please arrive at the dock at 3:00 pm to ensure you make it to the ceremony.
Return ferries will be making trips throughout the evening.
